Big State Flags
Big state flags are hard to find. Most flag company’s have state flags from 2 x 3′ to 6 x 10′ for sale. 
Here at Flag-Works we have all the state flags from 2 x 3′ up to 12 x 18′ in nylon (except Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi). We also have Ohio state flags in larger sizes 15 x 25′, and 20 x 30′. These nylon Ohio state flags and the polyester Ohio state flags are readily available for your big time needs. 
Of a matter of coarse, Texas state flags can also be made in in the sizes above and 20 x 38′, 30 x 50′ and 30 x 60′. Now that’s a big flag. Texas flag history is full of historic Texas flags. PS If you wanted an Ohio state flag that big I’m sure we can make a custom Ohio state flag for you. One more thought, we do have these flags in small sizes but that’s for another day.

New York City Flag
The first European settlers to the New York area were from Netherlands in the year sixteen hundred and twenty five. That is were the colors blue, white and orange for the city of New York flag come from. The Netherlands flag is orange, white and blue bars of equal dimensions. The state seal in blue has the number 1625 in it to designate the year the settlers arrived. Individual Signal Flags
What does this spell?
For those familiar with the International Code of Signals this would be simple. For those with no experience it might as well be a foreign language. All and all the signals spell “FLAG” the signals used to spell this are “F-Foxtrot, L-Lima, A-Alfa, G-Golf”. The international code of signals consist of 40 flags and pennants. There are the alphabet (26 letters) there are 10 numbers (0-9) three repeaters pennants and one code answering pennant. Our code flags are made in America (not Sri Lanka or China) of nylon in all the approved colors. We offer the signals as a complete set with carry bag or individually. So for those who have a boat, camp, yardarm these make great displays when spelling simple terms. The signals come in various sizes from Size 0, 1′ x 1 1/4′ to Size 14, 4′ x 6′ either with ash toggle, brass snaps and rings or brass grommets.

Small American Flags “Stick Flags”
American flags come in all sorts of sizes from very large to very small. Many small flags are mounted on sticks and are used for honoring our military who gave their life to protect our freedoms. Some are used for waving in a parade and others are used to make patriotic displays.

Massachusetts State Flag
Massachusetts was the 6th state admitted into the country in 1788.
Massachusetts first had a flag that had a different design on each side. In 1971, the Massachusetts state flag was changed and only depicts the original front design. It is of a Native American on a blue shield. He is holding a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other, pointed down to symbolize peace. A crest above the shield shows an arm bent at the elbow, hand holding a sword.

A while ago I posted about custom bronze grave markers. This post is about aluminum grave markers. 
Aluminum grave markers have been around for sometime know. However, most people and groups have chosen bronze. Bronze grave markers were always the first choice, but since the “difficult times” many people have been looking for alternatives. Hence, plastic grave markers saw a boom in sales at one fourth the price of bronze. Now plastic was good in a pinch however it still looked “cheap”. Now we have aluminum, as solid as bronze with a finish of bronze. A perfect marriage of low cost and good looks.
