French Fleur-De-Lis Flag

This has a rich history with the French, as the Fleur-de-lis holds ancient significance in French heraldry. French explorers carried it during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries while leading expeditions across North America. The three golden Fleur-de-lis on a blue field developed from the original "Lily Flower," which was tripled by King Charles V in tribute to the Holy Trinity.
