Jolly Roger Flag

Item Numbers: 23231620, 35231620

The Jolly Roger is the traditional English name for the flag flown by pirate ships during attacks in the early 18th century, typically featuring a skull or "Death's Head" design on a black background.

The most recognized version today is the skull and crossbones on a black flag, used by pirate captains like Black Sam Bellamy, Edward England, and John Taylor in the 1710s. This design became the most popular pirate flag in the 1720s, alongside other variations.

Our authentic historical reproductions of flags from American history - including the Jolly Roger Flag - are popular with collectors or as part of patriotic displays.  The historical flags are manufactured with the same high quality outdoor construction as our state and international flags.   All historical flags are 3x5' or as marked.  Larger historical flag sizes and designs are available upon request as a custom flag.
